From crisis to chrysalis...

Somewhere in the middle years, the story you built your life on starts to feel off.

The work you mastered no longer fills you. The marriage, the fathering, the friendship - the roles still fit, but barely, and you can feel the seams. Some men meet this as depression. Some as restlessness, an affair, a sudden purchase, a slow withdraw. Most men meet it as a private question they have not said out loud: is this it?

Jungian author James Hollis calls this 'the middle passage' - the moment the provisional personality cracks, and the life you constructed for the first half of life stops being sufficient for the second.

Weaving together the work of Hollis, plus Allan B. Chinen (Beyond the Hero), my 13+ year apprenticeship to Stephen Jenkinson, and more, this 90 minute webinar will offer a practical and mythic framework for men.

This is your summons. There is a way through it that is not a midlife crisis, but a chrysalis instead.

The six thresholds we will cover:

  1. The Provisional Self - the personality you built to survive your first half, and why it has an expiry date.

  2. The Time of Ashes - the descent. What burnout, depression, and collapse actually are at midlife, and why symptoms are not the enemy.

  3. Releasing Projections - the mirror of relationship. What you have been asking your partner to carry that was never hers to carry.

  4. From Success to Meaning - discovering your vocation for the second half.

  5. The Skills of Midlife - turning within. Dreams, the body, solitude, and a rhythm of practice that holds.

  6. On the High Seas Alone, Together - inner authority. Taking back the choices you outsourced, and what second adulthood asks of a man.
